Before IndyCar launches its cars down in So-Cal, let's have an extended look - i.e. a full race - what F1 racing looked like there many-many years ago.
1982 was one of the most memorable seasons in F1 - Keke Rosberg winning his championship with only a single race won, Gilles Villeneuve unfortunately passing a few races later, but nevertheless running not one, but TWO rear wings on his Ferrari at LB - for which he was later disqualified -, an impromptu cameo from Mario Andretti. Also turbos were just starting raving while ground effects haven't been banned yet.
The audio track switches back and forth between various languages and commentators, but you will still be enjoying the great insights of Murray Walker and James Hunt.
Share your LBGP F1 memories.

As a resident of Downtown Long Beach, i love seeing 1) how un-developed that whole area down by the waterfront was and 2) how different the course was compared to the modern track of today.
